Belfast Telegraph Runher Parkanaur 10K: Online entry Open

A Heartfelt Thank You from Cash for Kids

Hi Ladies, I just wanted to personally thank you all for your participation in Runher on Sunday. I hope you and your friends had a great day and thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Cash for Kids has been involved in this event from the beginning. We are very proud to be the official charity of such a fun, vibrant and dynamic event that provides an opportunity for ladies of all ages to participate in a celebration of wellbeing. This event is a fantastic opportunity for you to make the most of your own health and fitness. It is also an excellent platform to raise sponsorship money to help support vulnerable, disadvantaged and at risk children living in our own communities right here in Northern Ireland.

Cash for Kids works very hard all year round to try and fulfil the many applications for support we receive every month and we are finding it increasingly difficult to keep our waiting list down.  At present it takes 12 months from the date an application is received until it gets considered for support. This is simply down to how long it takes to collect enough money to fund the many worthy and heartfelt applications for assistance we receive. Requests come to us from individual children, groups and schools as well as other small charities doing amazing work in our own streets and towns across the province.

If you would like to read more about the last 10 causes we supported please visit our website here.

If you have already returned your sponsorship form to us, thank you so much. We will send you an official thank-you letter in the post soon.

If you are still gathering up the remainder of your outstanding pledges please send it to us as a cheque (if you can) made payable to Cash for Kids and post it with your sponsorship form including your name address and e-mail to: Cash for Kids, Kiltonga Industrial Estate, Newtownards, BT23 4ES

If you need another form or any help or advice with your fundraising please feel free to call me anytime on 028 9181 5555. Remember, if every girl who took part in this event raised just £10 that would be enough money to help support the next batch of applications on our waiting list.

Thank you again for taking part,

Cash for Kids – Charity Manager
