Pavilion, Stormont hosts Runher 2010
Read on for a little taster about the new Playball Pavilion at Stormont that will host Runher for 2010...
Runher is based at the Pavilion, Stormont which is a multi function venue offering sporting, social and business amenities. It offers modern changing suites, catering facilities and various function rooms, one of which will host Runher’s post event presentation. Access to the event will be through the Stoney Road entrance.
The Pavilion Stormont will soon be complemented with a brand new multi sports facility called PlayBall, kicking off with a summer scheme throughout July and August. PlayBall, which is open to everyone, will boast 9 state of the art all weather pitches, including 8 multi sport pitches & an international level water based hockey pitch.
Sales and Marketing Officer Laura Parkinson says,
“Demand is already high. We have received a huge amount of interest from schools, youth groups, hockey clubs and both professional and amateur football clubs making enquiries and bookings – we believe that these excellent facilities will allow more people to become involved with sport.
And, of course, we’re delighted once again to be hosting the Runher event”
