Entries hitting record heights
Belfast Telegraph Runher entries for June 13th @ Stormont ’hitting the heights’.
Many thanks to all of you who have entered the Belfast Telegraph Runher 5k or 10k to date. Last years’ events seen over 2000 entrants - and this year is taking shape to achieve new record levels. There will be announcements in the coming weeks of some famous faces who are taking some time out on 13th June to join us all for a great day out. Watch this space.
For all of those taking part this year, you will all recieve a 2010 Brooks technical running t-shirt - always a collectors’ item! There will also be the Runher goody bag for all those taking part.
A map of the course will appear on the site this week - for your planning. We have heard of many entrants taking a run of the course in advance of the big day.
Cash for Kids will be the official Belfast Telegraph Runher charity for 2010 and 2011. More on this to follow. Many of you may have heard Pete Snodden and Rory McIlroy - amongst others- do the recent Cash for Kids charity event at the RVH ward for sick children. Our event is hoping to emulate this success and help the charity raise funds which stay in NI. Please do consider raising any small amount by taking part in Runher for the charity - fundraising details to follow.
Runher Corporate Challenge: Where we have teams of 10 or more entering, entry fee will be reduced to £12 per head. Where we have workplaces of 25 or more, this will be £10 per head. Thanks to all of those businesses who have entered to date - Weatherspoons Belfast are the reigning Runher champions with best turnout in 2009!

We would strongly recommend that those thinking of entering do so in May as those wishing to stipulate a size of technical t-shirt will not be able to do so AFTER 1st June - as foward orders need to be placed.
