Belfast Telegraph Runher 9.10.11 - in association with Up & Running NI

Walk, Jog or Run 5k or 10k this autumn in the beautiful grounds of Stormont....

All those who have entered the event, as of Monday 26th September, will receive an E-Newsletter this week with Runher pack collection and race day details.  Only those who have supplied a valid e-mail address will receive this.  Updates will also feature in this section.

Pack Collection

All race packs can be collected during pack collection that will take place from the Up & Running store, Wellington Place, Belfast at the following times:

Thurs 6th Oct 3pm- 8pm
Fri 7th Oct 10am- 6pm
Sat 8th Oct 9am- 5pm

Packs can also be collected on the day, Sunday 9th Oct 10am- 12.30pm from the main Stormont Pavillion.
Included in each pack will be your individual race number, timing chip and an exclusive Runher 9-10-11 technical t-shirt in addition to a range of nutrition and beauty samples!

 

Timetable for the day
1.30pm- Cash for Kids Dash for Kids (free kids race)
1.45pm- Warm-up session
2.00pm- 5K start
2.10pm- 10K start
3.30pm- Tour of Parliament Buildings
4.00pm- Awards Presentation in Great hall, Stormont

1. Earlybird incentives: First 25 entrants to both the 5k & 10k events each receive a FREE pair of our exclusive new Runher Coolmax sock as part of your racepack (you will receive this at pack collection in October) - Well done to all those who qualified as the first 25 in each race!

2. First 1000 to enter will each receive our exclusive Runher 9.10.11 Brooks Running technical t-shirts.These will be navy short sleeve t-shirts with a retail value of £15. We have online entry and entry forms coming in every day - to be sure of being one of the first 1000, make sure you and your friends enter today!

3. Entry fee for both 5k & 10k is £15 UNTIL Fri 30th September 2011**  This will increase to £17 after this date until Wednesday 5th October 2011 when online entry closes at midnight.  

**Stop Press: 31st August: Due to demand and many of our runners being on holidays, we have held the £15 entry price until Friday 30th September 2011 as a gesture. Please note:Anyone who enters after this date cannot be guaranteed a particular size in our Runher t-shirts.

Entry fee includes: Brooks running technical t-shirt worth £15, race entry, championchip timing, goody bag and the opportunity to win lots of prizes.

Prizes: To be confirmed. We are looking at rewarding the Top 10 in each event - yes, 20 prizes in all ! DKY Hairdressing in Bangor have also confirmed that the lucky winner of the 10K will receive SIX MONTHS FREE haircare !!!!!!  In addition, the first 3 finishers in both events will receive fantastic Joico haircare products!!!

Entry - £15 - This is via our Runher Online entry system on this site which links through paypal. You do not need a paypal account to enter Runher. To check entry accepted, you can check our online entry list on this site.

We regret that we cannot refund entries unless the event has been cancelled. However we do allow you to transfer your entry to another individual. 

Paypal confirmation is your race entry confirmation. Please print this out and keep. You will need to bring this along to pack collection in early October to collect your race number and goody bag. You can also check ’Check entry’ on our Runher hompage to see your name listed on either the 5k or 10k lists. Please note that these lists are for ONLINE ENTRY ONLY. Paper entries and entrants through the ’Champion Challenge’ will be emailed directly to confirm entry.

Course Map: See home page and click ’Course Map’ at the top of page for exact route on Sunday 9th October 2011 at Stormont Estate, Belfast. The 9.10.11 course will centre on a reverse route to May’s Runher event and be similar to last October 2010 route.

FREE KIDS RACE which will be circa a 1km lap on the Prince of Wales Avenue on 9.10.11.  This starts at 1.30pm and is for the children of our entrants taking part. It is great fun and we actively encourage families to come along and enjoy the whole day. Put this in the diary now for the kids. All finishers will receive a race certificate.
